https://snabbauttagcasinon.com is where I ended up after reading about the show, mostly because the timing detail about a one-night opening reception on January 10 got me curious about how LA galleries handle these anniversary events. What stood out was that Kukula's new piece was made specifically for Thinkspace's tenth year, which says something about how long that space has been backing artists who don't fit the usual gallery mold. Ten years in that part of LA is no small thing given how many galleries come and go.
